Kalinka is a Gypsy Orchestra which performs
music from Eastern Europe-the main emphasis being Hungarian, Russian
and Romanian styles.In their wide repertoire, there is also a lot of
operetta melodies, light classical music, viennese music, jewish melodies
(klezmer), as well as "hot club" music as played by Django Reinhardt
and Stéphane Grapelli.

Whatever the occasion Kalinko can fit in very
well with this traditional folk gypsy music, creating beautiful
sounds using the violin, accordeon, double-bass or bass balalaïka
and vocals.
